The International Puppet Festival Ireland continues at the Lambert Puppet Theatre in Monkstown, Dublin, and in Dublin's Pavillion Theatre, until next Sunday.

The festival highlights the extraordinary creativity and diversity of this art form, including performances for adult audiences. This week's visitors include the acclaimed Company Phillippe Genty from France, the stunning wood-carved marionettes from the Naive Theatre of Liberec in the Czech Republic as well as companies from Russia, Italy and Brazil.

The Lambert Puppet Theatre will premiere its own shadow-puppet production of The Happy Prince this weekend.
