Dyslexia at Second Level – A Course for Teachers

Opera in Ballbofey on Junior Cert Music Course

Engelbert Humperdincks comic children's opera Hansel and Gretelby North West Opera will be performed at the Balor theatre, Ballybofey, Co Donegal on October 2nd and 3rd at 8pm. Tickets cost €12 to €18. Tel: 074 9131840. The opera forms part of the Junior Certificate music course.

UCD Computer Science and Programming for Second-Level Students

UCD School of Computer Science and Informatics, in association with Google Ireland, are accepting applications for the Introduction to Computer Science and Programming (ICSP), a distance-learning module aimed at opening up the world of computer science and programming, to second-level students. School discipline – a legal perspective

A one-day training course entitled “Student Behaviour and School Discipline: What is the law?” is being held in Dublin on October 10th. The course is open to primary and second-level teachers, members of boards of management, psychologists, health professionals, parents and representatives of relevant organisations.
