“Libraries, Readers and Bibliographers” is the title of a talk by Prof David McKitterick, Trinity College, Cambridge at 5.30pm tomorrow at Dr Steevens’s Hospital, Dublin. Computer Science Open Evening at UCD

Dyslexia Courses

The Dyslexia Association of Ireland (DAI) is organising an evening course for parents on dyslexia in the Mercer Hotel, Dublin. The course will take place over two nights – tomorrow and Wednesday, March 3rd. An evening course for third-year secondary students on exam preparation and study skills for the Junior Certificate will take place on Wednesday, March 3rd. See dyslexia.ie.

“Rise of Islam” Seminar at NUI Maynooth

The Centre for the Study of Wider Europe at NUI Maynooth presents a seminar by Dr Galina Yemilianova of the University of Birmingham on “The Rise of Islam and Islamism in Eurasia” in the John Hume Boardroom, North Campus, tomorrow from 6pm to 8pm. All are welcome. See widereurope.ie.

Education Conference at NUI Galway

An education conference at NUI Galway on Saturday, February 27th, will focus on content and language integrated learning, an emerging method of teaching languages. It will be of specific interest to teachers of Irish at second-level. See: conference.ie.

NUI Galway Public Lecture
