The Dutch education inspectorate plans to publish official school inspection results on the Internet.

The debate about the publication of league tables is an international phenomenon, and Holland has opted for more frequent schools inspections and a new supervision act to monitor quality standards in schools.

Inspectors will carry out inspections in accordance with the aims which the school has set for itself and the official inspection results will be published on the Internet in a form allowing input from both sides, so anyone can have a look at how any particular school is functioning.
