Several hundred republican dissidents are expected to take part in an Easter Sunday rally in Dublin, writes Suzanne Breen.

Marchers from Belfast, Derry, Dundalk and Cork are expected to participate. They are planning to gather at Liberty Hall before marching to the GPO and then to Arbour Hill.

The march is being organised by the "National 1916 Commemoration Committee". An advertisement appeared in the Sovereign Nation, the journal of the 32 County Sovereignty Movement. It is understood the keynote speaker will be an Omagh councillor, Mr Francie Mackey, who is chairman of the Sovereignty Movement.

Security sources say the Sovereignty Movement is the political wing of the "Real IRA", a claim the organisation denies.
