Two men died and one was seriously injured when their cars were involved in a collision in Dundalk, Co Louth, early yesterday morning.
The dead men were named as Mr John Byrne (20), Laurel Grove, Dundalk, and Mr Barry O'Hagan (33), from Patrician Park, Newry, Co Down.
Mr Byrne celebrated his birthday on Monday. His 19-year-old passenger was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin with serious head injuries. The accident happened near the Racecourse Road on the Dundalk inner relief road.
