The young Dublin pianist Finghin Collins (19), has reached the semi finals of the Leeds International Piano Competition. He is one of 12 pianists aiming for one of the world's most coveted piano prizes.
He will perform on Wednesday in his attempt to make it into the finals, where six competitors will perform concertos with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
