Gardaí in Dublin are becoming increasingly concerned as to the whereabouts of a woman missing from her home since last week.

Blathnaid Timothy (33) was reported missing on Friday having last been seen by her flatmate at Smith Hall, Camden Street, Dublin 2 on December 14th.

Ms Timothy, who is originally from Galway, is described as being 167cm (5ft 6in) in height, of thin build with medium length dark brown hair and a pale complexion.

When last seen, she was wearing a black three-quarter length wool coat, dark, possibly grey jeans and a scarf, possibly black and red.

Through CCTV footage, gardaí have established that she used her ATM card at the National Irish Bank on Sir John Rogerston Quay, in Dublin at 8pm on Tuesday, December 14th.

She then hailed a taxi and got into the rear passenger side door before the car moved west along towards the city centre.

Gardaí are keen to speak to the driver of the taxi described as a black Mercedes or similar vehicle.
