Gardaí in Co Louth are investigating the burglary of a pharmacy in which cash and controlled drugs were taken.
The burglary toook place at about 4.45am in Castlebellingham.
A Garda spokesman said the majority of the drugs taken were packaged in blister pack units.
"Medical advice suggests that these controlled drugs taken without medical supervision or prescription could be potentially harmful."
Gardaí asked anyone who may have any information about the burglary or the whereabouts of the drugs to contact Castlebellingham Garda station on 042-9372205 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666111.
