A drug dealer who was observed during a covert Garda operation selling cannabis to children has been jailed for five years by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Judge Cyril Kelly noted that Patrick Fallon (24) had six convictions dating back to 1992 for cannabis dealing and carrying a hatchet. In 1994 he was sentenced to two years but served only seven weeks before being released.
The judge said Fallon was selling cannabis to people who were legally children. One was aged only 15.
Fallon (24), of St Peter's Crescent, Walkinstown, and Sunbury Gardens, Dartry, Dublin, pleaded guilty to possessing £600 worth of cannabis for supply at Spawell, Templeogue, on September 21st, 1995.
