A man (25) who was stabbed in Drogheda, Co Louth, earlier this week has died in hospital.
The man, whose name has not yet been released, was found lying on Marsh Road early on Tuesday morning suffering from what was described as a stab wound to the stomach.
The man died in Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda this morning at 11 a.m. Gardai said they were awaiting the preliminary results of a post mortem before an announcing a murder investigation.
