London - A doctor was yesterday convicted of indecently assaulting eight women patients over a 17-year period. He was sentenced to 31/2 years in prison.
Dr Gerald Walmsley (50), of Langton Green, Kent, was found guilty of 10 charges of indecently assaulting eight women - two of them twice. The married GP, a father of two, now faces disciplinary action by the General Medical Council.
