The case against Dr James Patrick (Séamus) Cassidy arises from alleged forgery of the will of Catherine “Kitty” Haughey, who ran the Slieve Gullion pub in Forkhill, south Armagh. She died in 2004 aged 81. Dr Cassidy (59), Killyman Road, Dungannon, and co-accused Niamh Rosemary Hearty (31), Long Avenue, Dundalk, appeared at Newry Magistrates’ Court. Both were remanded on bail.
