More than 1,000 domestic holiday options are contained in the Discover Ireland Spring/ Summer '99 brochure, launched yesterday by Bord Failte. The edition, the largest to date, is available from tourist information offices and travel agencies, North and South.
Meanwhile, the tour operator Panorama yesterday issued an updated summer brochure, containing an extra 10,000 package holiday seats, a 30 per cent increase on last year. The company's chief executive, Mr Niall McDonnell, said it had expanded its programme in response to heavy demand.
The company was taken over recently by the British operator Airtours.
