A first showing of paintings by one of the great names of jazz, the late Miles Davis, will be held during the ESB Dublin Jazz Week from next Monday to the following Sunday. What began as a simple creative outlet in the early 1980s developed into a consuming passion - Davis spent several hours a day sketching and painting. The exhibition runs at the Davis Gallery in Capel Street, Dublin. Picture above is one of the works on exhibition.
