A pensioner who raped his daughter almost 30 years ago has been remanded on continuing bail by Mr Justice Carney for sentencing on June 30th by the Central Criminal Court.
The 68-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to 13 sample charges of raping one daughter on a date unknown between 1971 and 1974, and to indecent assaults on her, on another daughter and on his son between 1964 and 1972. The offences happened at two separate addresses in north Co Dublin. There were 70 charges on the indictment.
