Copenhagen - Employers and union leaders were trying to reach an accord last night to end a crippling strike by about half a million private sector workers. The head of the employers' organisation, Mr Joern Neergaard Larsen, indicated that some form of decision - either an agreement or a break-off of talks - would have to be reached.
