The revolution in global communication has reached right to dance-floor level with the arrival of Eurodance in Dublin's Kitchen nightclub next Friday.

An estimated 70 million European clubbers will cram into U2's venue at the Clarence Hotel, although most of them will be there in spirit, sharing the buzz via satellite and the (yawn) World Wide Web. This is the third outing for Eurodance, and the Irish end is being promoted by the fin-tastic folk at Strictly Fish.

The event happens simultaneously in nine clubs across Europe, and features 14 acts from 8 countries broadcasting to more than 30 radio stations across Europe, but Dublin gets the best deal with the appearance of headliners Agnelli & Nelson (above), the Northern Irish trance duo behind the massive El Nino smash. Kitchen clubbers will also get to watch the other acts live on webcam; those who can't squeeze into the venue can view the whole thing on fab 2FM's website at www.2fm.ie
