'Dallas' set for TV3 comeback

Dallasis returning for a brand new series, which forms part of TV3's spring schedule announced yesterday.

“JR, Bobby and Sue Ellen Ewing return to the ranch with secrets, schemes and betrayal,” we are promised. “And this time theyre joined by the next generation of Ewings, who take ambition and deception to a wicked new level.”

A distinctive black chair and ominous theme tune are set to return in an Irish version of Mastermind.The show will see former minister for justice Nora Owen asking the questions of contenders, among them famous faces. Arguably less taxing on the brain are Tallafornia, Take Me Out Irelandand Come Dine With Me, all of which return on Friday nights.

TV3 said that the news schedule features more than 50 hours of home-produced content including live studio shows such as Ireland AMand Tonight with Vincent Browne, an output that it said was set to increase with the construction of two new studios at Ballymount.
