Miami - A meeting between Cuban shipwreck survivor Elian Gonzalez (6) and his Cuban grandmothers ended in under two hours last night and the boy returned to the Miami home where he has been staying. The boy, at the heart of an international custody battle between Cuba and the US, was driven away from the Miami Beach home of Sister Jeanne O'Laughlin, a Dominican nun, where the meeting, described as "strained", took place.
