Havana - A conference marking 40 years since the failed US-led Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba opened yesterday, attended by the President, Dr Fidel Castro, Cuban and US academics, as well as a handful of former members of Assault Brigade 2506, which carried out the attack in 1961.
