Gardaí seize €150,000 worth of cocaine in Dublin

Man (18) arrested in Coolock following drug seizure during stop and search

An 18-year-old man has been arrested in Coolock for possession of cocaine worth an estimated €150,000.

The man was stopped and searched by gardaí on Manor Drive in Coolock, Dublin 13 at about 7.35pm on Wednesday.

The cocaine, which had an estimated street value of €150,000, was discovered in a black bag in the man’s possession.

The man is currently being detained at Coolock Garda station under the Provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
