Gardaí appeal over three missing teenagers

Gardaí have appealed for information about three teenagers who are missing from their respective homes in Westmeath, Cork and Dublin.

Daniel Kane (17) from Athlone was last seen in the town at about 9pm on December 5th.

He is described as being small and of slight build. He has brown hair and blue eyes and was wearing a red jacket, a navy tracksuit and runners when last seen.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Athlone Garda station on (0906) 498550, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Megan Higgins (17), from the Fairhill area of Cork, was last seen on by her family on December 26th.

She is described as being 5ft 7ins in height with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing white leggings and a black top when last seen.

Separately, assistance is being sought in locating Josie Cawley (16) who has been missing from her home in Rathfarnham, Dublin since December 22nd.

She is described as being 5ft 5ins in height with long reddish hair and green eyes.

Gardaí said she is believed to be in the Rathfarnham or Tallaght areas.
