Gardaí investigate death of man (61) in Co Clare

Gardaí are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered in Co Clare today.

The body of the man (61)was found at Ballynacally, Co Clare at about 9.45am, a Garda spokesman said.

It was removed from the scene and taken to Limerick Regional Hospital. A postmortem is due to take place later today.

Gardaí have preserved the scene and contacted the State Pathologist’s office about the death.
