Cannabis worth €360,000 seized by gardaí in Co Meath

Gardaí in Co Meath have seized cannabis plants with an estimated value of €360,000 after a planned search in Athboy on Friday.

A Garda spokesman said the seizure took place shortly before 1pm on Friday at a premises at Gillstown Little.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Kells Garda station under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
