Colin and Wendy Parry, whose son Tim was killed by an IRA bomb in Warrington, are visiting Ireland to finalise details of a programme to bring together young children from Warrington and both parts of Ireland. About 20 children from Sir Thomas Boteler High School, Warrington, are involved, and five children from schools in Northern Ireland and the Republic.
The Parrys planted a tree on Saturday at the Glencree Reconciliation Centre in Co Wicklow. Glencree and the Peace People in Belfast will be hosts to the children's programme in Dublin and Belfast next May.
