We've Got Mail: Recently Majella Grealish bought a skirt in Principles, Sligo and paid €69 for it. Days later she was in Galway where the same skirt had a sticker with a new price of €75, she says.
"When shopping on Grafton Street a week later I could not resist checking the price there - the sticker read €79!" Also, she says, the co-ordinating cardigan which cost her €49 in Sligo was €55 in both Galway and Dublin. "I think I will continue to shop locally," she says.
Another reader says he spotted a plain white Hugo Boss shirt selling for about €110 in both Brown Thomas and Louis Copeland in Dundrum, and in Dublin airport. The same shirt sells for €65 in Brussels airport. "Talk about having the shirt off your back," he says.
