BLOG ON HERE:Is there a way to stop NTL sending me its offers addressed to "The Resident"? I'm not a customer, have no intention of becoming one either, but I get its direct mail at least once a fortnight.

If it used my name, I know I could have it removed from the list - so just wondering if there's any way I can help the company save a few trees. From being a customer in the past, I know that ringing rarely helps! - Michael

My ulcer is named "NTL" due to the company's contribution. My advice is to bypass surly customer service and get put through to "Retentions" to deal with grievances. My revenge comes round this week as I'm moving house, and I'm looking forward to informing NTL that my set-top box is now out in the street, where it can be picked up at any time. - Kid
