IT WILL be a cold end to the bank holiday, a spokesman for Met Eireann said yesterday. The weather will get colder, with strong northerly winds. The only good news is the roads will probably have dried by tomorrow evening for those travelling home.
Bus Eireann will run a Sunday schedule today, with some extra services for people returning to work.
A spokesman for Aer Rianta said the airports are not going to be very busy and people should check in for flights at normal times.
Road improvements on the Naas dualcarriageway between Newlands Cross and Rathcoole will continue until July, causing delays, AA Roadwatch warned, while road works on the N4 between Boyle and Carrick on Shannon are also causing delays.
