President Mary McAleese will attend the Royal British Legion Ecumenical Service of Remembrance and Reconciliation at Dublin's St Patrick’s Cathedral this afternoon.

Dublin's lord mayor delivered a speech to the Irish UN Veterans' Association at noon and laid a wreath at the organisation's headquarters in Arbour Hill, Dublin, to mark 50 years of UN peacekeeping.
