Port-Au-Prince - Police yesterday were investigating the murder of a Canadian monk found hacked to death at a school in a south-eastern Haitian village where he worked as a teacher.
Police said the body of Friar Bernardin Jean Hudon (62), of Quebec, was found by a security guard on Saturday morning in his bedroom at a school in La Vallee.
