The Sinn Fein Assembly member for North Belfast, Mr Gerry Kelly, has urged management at the Castlecourt shopping complex to close a newly-opened RUC information shop in Belfast city centre.

Mr Kelly, after a meeting with the centre's management yesterday, said there were three RUC stations in the city centre and Castlecourt should be maintained as "a neutral environment accessible to all the residents of Belfast". Scuffles broke out last week when Sinn Fein protested at the shop's opening.
