At least 12 people were killed and 40 injured when a bus and a truck collided on the outskirts of the Bangladesh capital Dhaka today, police said.
The bus carrying over 60 passengers crashed into the goods-laden truck coming from the opposite direction in early morning fog, said a police officer at Savar, 30 kilometres northwest of Dhaka.
He said most of the victims were from the bus and the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals.
