A CROSS-PARTY group of Irish and British parliamentarians is to meet the chairman of the international body on decommissioning, Gen John de Chastelain, in Belfast today.
The Oireachtas delegation will be made up of the Fianna Fail chairman, Dr Rory O'Hanlon, the Fine Gael spokesman on Northern Ireland, Mr Charles Flanagan, and Senator Joe Costello of Labour. The former Northern Ireland Minister, Mr Michael Mates, of the Conservative party, and the British Labour MP, Dr Norman Godman, will also attend.
