A boy appeared in Dublin Children's Court yesterday on a total of 33 charges including one of bank robbery. The 15 year old, from Rialto, also faces several charges of stealing women's handbags in central Dublin.
The defendant also faces six charges of failing to appear in court.
The court was told that the theft of £2,400 from Mr Paul Swaine, manager of the AIB, Dame Street, was committed on December 2nd last.
The youth was remanded in custody to Trinity House until December 18th.
