Both winning tickets in the St Valentine's Day Lotto jackpot were sold in the same area but on opposite sides of the Border

Both winning tickets in the St Valentine's Day Lotto jackpot were sold in the same area but on opposite sides of the Border. Each ticket was worth £801,349.

One was bought by a man from Strabane, Co Tyrone, who wishes to remain anonymous. The other winner is the Brown Road Syndicate of Lifford, Co Donegal.

The syndicate members are Ms Sally Maguire (62), a publican, Mr Roger McGonagle and Mr Columba McHugh, both unemployed, and Mr Thomas Patton, who has a window making business.
