The body of a man in his 20s has been found in a river in Kilkenny city.
The man was found this evening in the River Breagagh behind a pub on Parliament Street.
Gardaí believe the man's death was an accident and are not treating it as suspicious.
The body, which has yet to be formally identified, was taken to St Luke’s Hospital for a postmortem.
