BRISBANE - Australia's largest biscuit manufacturer yesterday ordered all its products removed from supermarkets along Australia's east coast after an extortionist threatened to plant poisoned biscuits in stores from Monday.

The extortionist has demanded police involved in a 1991 murder case take a lie detector test in an attempt to prove the innocence of a friend now serving a life sentence for the execution-style murder of a bookmaker.
