The need for accessible information and user friendly polling stations for people with disabilities was underlined by Democratic Left at the launch of the audio version of its manifesto.
The party's Dublin North Central candidate, Ms Helen Lahert, welcomed moves to making polling stations more accessible but stressed that "physical accessibility is not the only issue affecting voters with a disability".
