Mr Liam McKechnie SC has been elected unopposed as chairman of the Bar Council for a second term.
Elected to the council's senior panel were: Mr James Connolly, Mr Denis McCullough, Mr Hugh Mohan and Mr Seamus Sorahan. Voted on to the junior panel were: Ms Caroline Biggs, Mr Fergal Foley, Mr Patrick Hunt, Mr Paul McGarry and Mr Nehru Morgan Pillay.
