Aung followers are rounded up

RANGOON - Sixty-four members of Burma's main opposition National League for Democracy (NLD) were rounded up by military authorities following recent student demonstrations this month, an NLD vice-chairman said yesterday.

Mr Tin Oo said party leader and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Auag San Suu Kyi was still under "virtual house arrest" because of the blockade of her house and restrictions on her movement.
