The Minister of State for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands, Ms Mary Coughlan, has confirmed that a UK company is involved in the research that could see both airstrips and helipads being provided on Tory, Arranmore, Gola and Inishboffin islands. There are helicopter trips to Tory Island but the helipad there needs to be replaced.
