An 11-year-old boy who was scalded when a cup of tea toppled on to his lap on a Transair flight has been awarded £7,750 damages in the Circuit Civil Court. The court heard that Jamie Rockett, Windgates, Greystones, Co Wicklow, had been returning from holidaying in Portugal with his mother when the incident occurred.
