The Taoiseach is to discuss the blockade of Irish beef at UK ports with the British Prime Minister, Mr Tony Blair, at the EU summit in Luxembourg next weekend. Mr Ahern told the Dail he hoped some more progress would be made by then. He said he had already spoken by telephone to Mr Blair and the matter had been raised with every source available to the Government since last week. He was replying on the Order of Business to the Fine Gael leader, Mr John Bruton.
