RIYADH - The two British nurses on trial in Saudi Arabia for the murder of a colleague will set up a trust fund in memory of the victim, it was reported yesterday.
In a new development, Ms Deborah Parry and Ms Lucille McLauchlan are said to be prepared to contribute to a financial trust if they are reprieved.
However, in Adelaide, the brother of the murdered nurse, Mr Frank Gilford, said his family still believed the death penalty was appropriate if the nurses were convicted. But they would consider any other options raised by the presiding Saudi judges or the defence lawyers.
