London - A previously unknown composition by Mozart has been discovered in a local authority office in the northern English town of Halifax, British newspapers reported yesterday.
Music professor Rachel Cowgill was quoted as saying she had unearthed the composition - an adaptation by Mozart of Handel's oratorio Judas Maccabaeus - as she was sifting through papers at the Calderdale Council office.
