Three men are due to appear in the Roscommon District Court this afternoon charged with theft after a burglary and high-speed pursuit in Co Roscommon today.
The three men are alleged to have been involved in a burglary at the Eircom building in Castlerea early this morning.
Gardaí said they were called to the building at about 3am and chased a car. An unmarked Garda car and patrol car pursued the vehicle for an hour before it crashed into a field.
The three men ran from the scene and were chased by gardaí. One was arrested immediately, and the other two were arrested later that morning.
