National Trails Day

The first National Trails Day takes place on September 28th. Its organisers hope people will get out and enjoy the huge range of trails in Ireland, suitable for anything from casual strolling to vigorous hiking - or even mountain biking. Connemara ramble:The annual Croí Connemara Ramble & Run will take place over the Maumean Trail tomorrow week, September 21st. Gap challenge:A sporting event in aid of RNLI takes place in Glenties, Ardara, Portnoo and Rosbeg, in Co Donegal, on Saturday, September 27th.
