Co Dublin - Tibradden trail upgrade

Coillte (www.coillte.ie) has announced that the walking trail that crosses Tibradden Mountain, in Co Dublin, has been completely upgraded as part of Dublin Mountains Partnership (www.dublinmountains.ie). A bog bridge has been built at the summit that leads to a stone burial tomb, which is a national monument, in order to minimise ground disturbance. Years of wear and tear from the feet of thousands of walkers had made the old trail unsustainable. Everyone is encouraged to enjoy the amenity over Christmas and New Year.
