Earagail Arts Festival:Donegal's biggest arts festival continues this weekend with some special events for children or Imeachtaí Teaglaigh, Faoin Spéir agus Páistí.

Tomorrow, the crowds will be heading for the Town Park in Letterkenny where the annual Earagail Arts Festival Global Village Fete has been set up.

Circus acts from far and wide have been brought in and there will be performances by Montreal’s Les Parfait Inconnus, Tumble Circus’ Nouvelle Carny and Kerry’s one and only Italian-Gaelic circus act, the Fanzini Brothers.

On the park lawns, village games will be provided by Ladder 13 and In Your Space Walkabout, and there will be storytelling by Compagnie Move. Pick up a picnic at the stalls in the Village Market.

Other events this week include the entertaining Story Telling Caravan, which is at Raphoe Library on July 12th and is suitable for ages nine to 13. Admission is free but reserve a place by calling the festival office on 074-9168800.

In Ards Forest Park at Creeslough, a drive-in movie theatre has been set up and on July 14th it will be screening the brilliant Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit. Gates open at 7.30pm for the 10pm start. It costs €25 per car.
